Specialty Inks
I finally got around to printing my daughter’s fall picture to go along with her older siblings’ school pictures. I finished up my editing in Photoshop, measured the kids’ photos to get the sizes I needed to make so her pictures would match theirs, and made a contact sheet of sorts to be printed. I set my digital printer settings, made sure my paper was inserted correctly and hit print. I got one sheet printed. Then I got the dreaded message popping up on my computer screen. I was out of ink in one of my ink tanks. My digital printer is dedicated to printing photos only so it has eight separate ink tanks for the best color representation. Although it’s nice to be able to change out only the inks that need it, thus not wasting any ink, I still can’t print when one of the tanks runs out. So I was finally able to get into the computer supply store over the weekend and get the inks that I needed. Now I just have to get myself to get back into doing my printing again so I can get my Christmas cards sent out in a timely manner.
