Scott Weaver’s Toothpick San Francisco

Artist Scott Weaver really wanted to build a miniature model of San Francisco out of toothpicks. So much so that he spent 35 years designing and assembling his 9 feet tall, 7 feet wide and 2 feet deep masterwork, titled “Rolling Through the Bay.”

Weaver wanted to give movement to his breathtaking, 1,000,000 toothpick-sculpture, so he incorporated winding tracks that would lead a train of ping-pong balls, taking the onlooker on a tour through San Francisco.
